Welcome to the Voter Education Project, Inc. website! Here you will find a variety of information so that you can be an informed citizen and learn about the many candidates in the upcoming November Presidential election. You can also register to vote! The site is easy to navigate as you will be able to visit each Presidential candidates websites and learn about which candidate you would like to vote for on November 4, 2008. You will also be able to learn about other federal, state, and local races in the El Paso area. The Voter Education Project, Inc. is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to making El Paso County a better place to live, work, and vote. Currently we are in application for our 501c3 designation and fiscally sponsored by the Nonprofit Enterprise Center of El Paso. The El Paso County Voter Consortium is seeking to bring together all of the organizations in El Paso County for the 2008 Presidential Election to create one voice, and one message for the citizens of El Paso: VOTE EL PASO, VOTA EL PASO!

Deadline to register to vote for the 2008 Presidential Election is October 6, 2008. Pick up a voter card at any U.S. Post office. Contact UTEP Student Government at 915-747-5584 or the Voter Consortium at 915-422-0566! Remember first day to request a mailin ballot is September 5, 2008! Contact the local El Paso Elections Department at 915-546-2154. VOTE El Paso, VOTA El Paso!
